 Please DO NOT CALL the school, or the radio station to see if we are closed or have a delay. Please listen to one of the above stations for the announcement concerning St. John’s. It normally is called in by 5:30 a.m.

Regarding delayed openings – St. John’s follows the Goshen School District. If the school district that buses your child is delayed, your school bus will be delayed. Children should come to school if St. John’s is open,  if you can manage to get them there.

Sometimes due to inclement weather, school districts notify us that the bus will be coming early to pick up our students. We will start to notify you that your child will be home early so we must have accurate work, cell and home #’s. Please make it a habit to listen to the radio when bad weather is predicted. The safety of your children is very important to all of us.

Please try not to call us on the phone, as it must be left open so we may receive directives from the other school districts. If it is necessary to call, please be brief.

I know that you share my hope that we do not use any snow days or have many delayed openings. We know this is not the wish of our children.

Pray that we have a mild winter.
