St. John’s is the oldest Catholic Elementary School in Orange County (148 years old) and we are pleased to be a vibrant and active part of St. John’s Parish which is 172) years old. As a Catholic School in the Archdiocese of New York we are Christ centered, academically excellent communities that welcome all and teach students to be life-long learners and leaders informed by a moral purpose. As we educate our children, Grades 1-8, we stress service as part of our curriculum.  When you see some of our accomplishments, not only in academics (see testing results)  but in our service projects such as a successful Blood Drive and donation of Thanksgiving Baskets, you will know that the Gospel of Jesus is of foremost importance in our school.

Some other projects that we participate in during the year are:

            Respect Life Day

Pancake Breakfast for the parish

            Grandparents Breakfast

            Blood Drive

Thanksgiving Baskets for the Migrant Families

Services for Rosary, Thanksgiving, Palm Sunday,

            May Crowning
